This 1966 Chevelle arrived from Colorado showing extensive rust throughout, making it the perfect candidate for a complete ground-up transformation. The vehicle is undergoing a full, no-compromise restoration that will return it better than new—inside, outside, and underneath.
The build begins with complete disassembly and full sandblasting of the entire car, ensuring every trace of corrosion is removed and allowing us to start with a clean foundation. Major metal replacement is being performed, including new floors, quarter panels, roof, and trunk, along with the installation of large A & B tubs to accommodate a serious performance stance.
The car is built on a RideTech chassis, paired with a big LS engine and a heavy-duty 4L80E automatic transmission, delivering modern power, reliability, and drivability while maintaining classic muscle car character.
Finishing touches will include a striking Leman’s Blue exterior contrasted by a crisp white interior, blending timeless style with modern performance and craftsmanship.
This is a full-frame, nut-and-bolt restoration with custom upgrades throughout, and the entire build will be completed in under one year. We’ll be following this project closely from start to finish as this Chevelle is transformed into a show-quality, street-ready masterpiece.
